When my daughter or son submits a donation for the Kids Helping Kids program, am I eligible to receive a tax receipt?

Yes. We ask that parents help their children count the money they have raised and then issue a cheque, money order, or make an online donation out to “IDRF –Kids Fund”. Parents must also fill-out a Kids Helping Kids donation form with their children when sending in a donation. Donations forms have been supplied to kids in their fundraising kits and are also available online in the Kids Helping Kids section for an online submission.

By filling out a Kids Helping Kids donation form, IDRF is able to recognize your child’s contribution by sending him or her an Honourary Certificate recognizing his or her achievement and it also allows IDRF to issue parents tax receipts in their name.
